"mac80211 support" error, but it is enabled

I get the following error when compiling rt2x00

#error mac80211 support not enabled in kernel!

I definitely have all possible wireless options enabled in my 2.6.24-rc6 kernel though.

Please attach your .config of your kernel to this thread so I can look into the options you enabled.

You enabled WLAN80211 and not MAC80211.
You should enable CONFIG_MAC80211

CONFIG_MAC80211 does not exist in my .config. Are you seeing it in 2.6.24-rc6? I don't see how mine can be different than your's.

You need to enable CONFIG_EXPERIMENTAL to use mac80211 and rt2x00.
