i probably will need to port the reference Linux driver rt2860 from Ralink to an embedded
OS which is used by our company so i created this thread where we can ask questions
about understanding the driver and discuss it. D

My first question.

I understand that the driver uses software queues (4 ACs and 1 HCCA) to schedule outgoing packets but what i don't understand why use software queues for scheduling if
the card also implements these queues in hardware. If i understand it right then
the card has 5 TX descriptor queues in hardware.
