Got a new wusb54G v4 and i can't get the rt2570 drivers to work in fedora9.Instead i got this message

[code26j5mnvo]
[root@localhost ~]# cd rt2570-cvs-2008061408/
[root@localhost rt2570-cvs-2008061408]# cd
[root@localhost ~]# cd rt2570-cvs-2008061408/
[root@localhost rt2570-cvs-2008061408]# cd Module/
[root@localhost Module]# make
make: *** /lib/modules/2.6.25-14.fc9.i686.PAE/build: No such file or directory. Stop.
rt2570.ko failed to build!
make: *** [module] Error 1
[root@localhost Module]#
[/code26j5mnvo]

i download the drivers from http//rt2x00.serialmonkey.com/rt2570-cvs-daily.tar.gz, and before compiling i did a yum install gcc kernel-devel . I am still pretty new to linux and so i can't really make up this error..anybody can guide me?

Hi cftmon,

You might try seeing what [codewrob1g72]/lib/modules/2.6.25-14.fc9.i686.PAE/build[/codewrob1g72] points to. It should be a soft link to your kernel source tree.

How do i see where it points to?Don't really get what u mean.

How do i see where it points to?[/quote25gs0fvw]Try [code25gs0fvw]file /lib/modules/2.6.25-14.fc9.i686.PAE/build[/code25gs0fvw]or [code25gs0fvw]ls /lib/modules/2.6.25-14.fc9.i686.PAE/build[/code25gs0fvw] You can use "man ls" and "man file" for information on these commands.

The basic idea is that you probably don't have your kernel sources installed.
