Hello. My rt61 pcmcia card stopped associating with my WPA2 AP with the latest rt2x00 code (it worked a couple of weeks ago). Here is the error message

I have attached a reg dump taken after such an assoc. attempt (NM running).

And, in case it is of use, here is a dump from the legacy driver (associated and working fine).

Thanks for the traces, I will look into them as soon as possible,

Ok - this was a mode selection problem. Manually disabling 11b mode (by commenting out the 11b mode registration as per some other topic on this forum) allows association with the latest git tree. The AP is set for 11g only.
What's going wrong here?

Other than the above oddity, things seem fine. Will retest for known issues later.

Later NetworkManager 'module in use' problem is apparently gone - when NM shuts down rt61pci can be successfully modprobe -r'd.

I think I've got the same problem as my rt2500 card connect to the AP in 11g-mode with WPA2 turned on, but it's working if the AP is set to 11b-only. How did you managed it to set the card to 11g-mode?

I use Debian Etch with kernel 2.6.23-git9 and the GNOME NetworkManager (version 0.6.4) nothing but the kernel is self compilied.

I have updated rt2x00.git from wireless.git, there are some patches in there that should have solved the mode-related problems.

Confirmed. Cheers D
