I have a Edimax EW-7128g PCI card using rt61pci kernel-drivers and I haven't been able to get wireless working since linux-2.6.24-rc6

You'll find more info in my post in Gentoo-forums[/url212yo58u] and [url=http://forums.gentoo.org/viewtopic-p-4723865.html#4723865212yo58u]here[/url212yo58u]

What I get as error when using WPA is
[code212yo58u]ioctl[SIOCSIWAUTH]: Operation not supported
WEXT auth param 4 value 0x0 - No keys have been configured - skip key clearing[/code212yo58u]

However, key is correctly setup in /etc/wpa_supplicant.conf

WEP isn't working either, although I don't get an error.

You'll find [url=http://forums.gentoo.org/viewtopic-p-4784084.html#4784084212yo58u]full debug log here[/url212yo58u]

Thanks
