Is there anyone currently successfully using rt2500usb in a secure network (WEP or WPA)? I have been trying to use it for sometime with varying degress of success, but most of the time I run into the problems discussed in http//rt2x00.serialmonkey.com/phpBB2/v ... php?t=4534. I was hoping someone maybe knows of a way around this, short of getting a different NIC or using the legacy driver (which works, but I have had issues compiling against kernels newer than 2.6.21). TIA.

I haven't been able to get it working even without any link encryption as all. As the OP of the topic you linked to, I'm still having issues. I'm trying to authenticate against a wide-open AP and am unable to do so.

Anyone have any more insight into this issue? Here is an updated dmesg output while attempting to associate (manually, with `ifconfig wlan0 essid <ESSID>`. Would an updated register dump help, or what else can be done to help determine what the issue(s) is/are? Any additional guidance would be greatly appreciated.

Any updates? Does anyone have a working rt2500usb driver that is current?

Bump. I would like to know of any success with this driver in particular with a Linksys WUSB54GV4.
