Hi

I just upgraded my NAS to 2.6.24-1 (Debian testing) and my initial joy of having the drivers in mainline has been tempered somewhat by them not working for me. /

$ sudo iwlist wlan0 scanning

It appears to scan fine, but fails to associate at all. The unknown hardware address type warning looks suspicious. Any ideas?

Thanks,
Ross

Not sure, but somehow I doubt the ifconfig scripts from debian perform the requires scanning and auto-association which is required for _all_ mac80211 based drivers.
You need to do
iwconfig wlan0 ap <ap bssid>
to start an association.

That didn't help. I've also just upgraded to 2.6.25, no joy. Any way to debug this?

This iw what I get when I try and connect
