Hi
I want to query that does the chipset RT2571WF with RT73 driver can work as a host access point?
Does RT2571WF also can work as a soft-ap?
I am not very clear about the concept of soft-ap. Is it the same as Ad-hoc?

thanks

Yes, but there are some problems

No. soft-ap is the same as "master mode" which means your device acts as access point,
in ad-hoc mode all clients connect to eachother without access point.
