Hello,

I'm french and I don't speak English very well so excuse me.

I have a problem with my wifi-card, Hercules HWGPCI-54 with rt2500 chipset. I want to connect to my AP (WPA encryption) with wpa_supplicant but it doesn't work. The system is Geexbox 1.2.3. I tested with Fedora 11 with the last kernel. It works with NetworkManager but with wpa_supplicant it doen't work.

My wpa_supplicant.conf
[codesdw9h1jk]ctrl_interface=/var/run/wpa_supplicant
ctrl_interface_group=wheel

network={
ssid="linksys"
proto=RSN
key_mgmt=WPA-PSK
pairwise=CCMP
group=CCMP
psk="topunishandenslave"
}[/codesdw9h1jk]

Is It possible to use wpa_supplicant with rt2x00 driver ?

Thank you

IvD

The problem is that NetworkManager was running. I stopped NetworkManager and wpa_supplicant conned to my AP
