I'm using an RT73 chipset on an embedded ARM processor. Originally WiFi worked well in ad-hoc or client mode on the 2.6.27.9 kernel. In an attempt to make it a full AP, I upped the kernel to 2.6.39.4 and added hostapd and the compat-wireless drivers (version 3.1-rc1-1).

Everything seems to be working okay with the exception of one problem that's almost impossible to diagnose. The device for no apparent reason will reboot randomly, even with no wifi clients connected. There's no errors or kernel panic prior to the reboot ... it's just instant.

For some troubleshooting, here's some data
