kernel 3.12 release candidate & AVM Fritz Stick N

I tried to get my usb stick working on Kubuntu 13.04 with a 3.12 kernel from the mainline ppa after i found out that this new revision is using a ralink chip inside.
It doesn't work quite yet so some debug info here shall help to help me

firmware package is updated. The device is working with the driver from mediatek.
Where does this error on the kernel driver result from?
