Hello
I don't know there is anyone post and answer this topic or not? I try to find it but don't found any case like me. So please don't kill this thread '(
I'm using Suse 10.3 (X86_64) kernel source 2.6.22.5.31 freshly installed + rt61-cvs-2007122802
After installed driver everything look well. My Router (Linksys WRT 54 GL) can see wireless card but it show no Signal
I must wait about 30-45 minutes then it had Signal. I think this a little bit too long. By the way this I did not use any Encryption.

Another Question I had read some thread in this site that there's a problem with rt61 and WEP keys. Is that true?
If it true. So Please give me some advice what encryption type that work.

Please help many many thank.

Hello,
The problem with WEP keys has been fixed a while ago, so that should be no problem.
Everything looks good in the outputs you posted, the card has successfully associated with the access point. How did you configure IP related settings (address, gateway, etc...), manually or dynamically (dhcp)?

Regards,
Romain

Thank you for help. I'm using DHCP.

The First one is wireless card that I was talking about (other two is on xp)

When I turn on my computer. in a few secound. Router can see Wireless card (mac address)
but no signal. I'm must still wait 30 or 40 Minutes until it had Signal. If not count this problem everything seem prefect.
I'm really don't know why. or I did something wrong ?
And I'm not so far away from router (3 Meter). BTW If I config IP with myself it can help ?

Thank again for your help

What do you mean by "no signal"? Does the station receive a dhcp lease?

No, I'm using normal ADSL. I don't know how to explain Please take a look at this
http//server6.theimagehosting.com/imag ... .1.646.JPG

I captured it from my router's monitor. At the last column "Signal Quality" if this show 0% like the first one ( My wireless card)
I cannot connect to internet or router . Although "iwlist wlan0 scan" and "iwconfig wlan0" show everything fine.
Like my computer don't get any ip from my router or don't connect to my router anyway.

Thank again

Post a debug trace as explained in the TESTING file coming with the driver, perhaps it will reveals what's wrong. When you run dhclient, what happens? Does it just fail at getting an address?
