Hello,

I've spend a lot of hours to solve my problem but I can't find a solution.

whan I try to build the module it came up with the following error

[code1l0gsz4j]make all
make[1]: Map '/usr/src/linux-2.6.18.8-0.9-obj/i386/default' wordt binnengegaan
make -C ../../../linux-2.6.18.8-0.9 O=../linux-2.6.18.8-0.9-obj/i386/default PCI-Card/rt61-cvs-2008032118/Module
make[3]: *** Er is geen regel om doel 'PCI-Card/rt61-cvs-2008032118/Module' te maken. Gestopt.
make[2]: *** [PCI-Card/rt61-cvs-2008032118/Module] Fout 2
make[1]: *** [PCI-Card/rt61-cvs-2008032118/Module] Fout 2

rt61.ko failed to build!
make: *** [module] Fout 1[/code1l0gsz4j]

i think i have all the devel package's and i have the kernel source installed.
i have also the on board ethernetcard compiled and that is working.

I really don't no what I'm doing wrong

Does /lib/modules/<kernel>/build point to your kernel sources?

I think it is, but I don't know how the source directory looks like.

if I install in yast the kernel sources it places the symlinks to but not to a place discribed in the FAQ

How looks a source directory?

The Ethernet card need the kernel source to and there is no problem in compiling

I'll give it another try when opensuse 10.3 is out.

so tis topic can be closed
