I'm doing some experiment with my pc at home, like installing OSX 86 and trying to make all the devices working.
The only problem that i can't manage to solve, it's i can't get the WL-171 card to work under Leopard 10.5.2!

The drivers doesn't exist, even on the Chinese version of Ralink's internet site, so i was just asking if is there a way to compile them under MacOS, and obtain some results.

Thanks fot your time
Matteo

N.B.
The chipset seems to be r61, but i found different informations around the web, so i'm not 100% sure.

Linux != Mac OSX

So Linux drivers won't work for Mac OSX.

Just download the MAC OSX drivers from the Ralink website. And yes, they are there in the menu select "Support" and then "Macintosh"

Thanks for the answer, i just thought there could be a way, because i know Mac OS X is Unix based, so the driver could maybe work, with some modifications, or maybe without.

The drivers on the internet site don't work, trust me.
This website is my last hope, because i don't think Ralink will release updated drivers...

MacOSX is BSD based (which is indeed Unix based). But drivers are not multi-OS capable.

You might want to raise a support issue at Ralink then, in the past they have updated drivers after bug reports...

I've already notified it, both to the producer of the chip (Ralink) and to the Sitecom support, but i've got no reply, unfortunately.
