Hi there,
I would like to get debug messages for this card. I followed TESTING, but there is no output. I inserted the recommended line into my syslog-ng.conf, but unfortunately that does not accepts it. Can I have some help to get debugging?
(I have random connection losses, also recently strange system freezes. Connection losses are due to the state of the driver, freezes - ? )

Meanwhile I have checked syslog-ng that is ok.

insmod rt61.ko debug=31 says this
insmod error inserting 'rt61.ko' -1 Unknown symbol in module

I use modprobe debug=31 in the startscript. That loads the module nicely, all starts but no debug.

The background
Linux darkstar #1 Thu Sep 4 202511 CEST 2008 i686 Pentium III (Coppermine) GenuineIntel GNU/Linux

The card is an Edimax card.

(ps I have also tried rt61pci, but that looses connection after a few 10 seconds in average.)

Did you compile the driver with "make debug"

Yes, the same with yest. cvs. Btw., that seems to be much more stable for me.
