root@ion~# uname -a
Linux ion 2.6.22-10-generic #1 SMP Wed Aug 22 081152 GMT 2007 i686 GNU/Linux

Ok I just upgraded from Ubuntu Feisty to Ubuntu Gutsy Gibbon, now I am unable to use WPA AES encryption, if I even attempt to connect with it, my system panics instantly with flashing caps/scroll lock. I am able to connect to wep perfectly with this driver, but as you know wep security is nonsecurity which id rather not get my internet stolen...

Here are the logs of the event, let me know what else is needed to figure out what the issue is to help fix it.

[b2dkpzb6p]Note This driver with Feisty worked fine. Not with Gutsy Gibbon[/b2dkpzb6p]

Hello,
Which version of the driver are you using? How did you configure the stick?

Regards,
Romain

I am running the "Bus 001 Device 003 ID 050d705a Belkin Components
rt73 belkin 7050 ver 3002"
and wep works fine, wpa causes complete system lockup, my configuration is the same as all other linux os's that I have used this driver with and it is happening in Ubuntu Gutsy, is there any dev's available to patch this?

I don't know if anyone is available at the moment, rt2x00 is really given the priority. If somone have the time, then he'll need a debug trace to have a chance to debug this.

lol so WPA and AES is the bastard!!!!

I have this same exact problem sighs. Why gutsy whyyyyyyyyyyy!!!!

Thing is ... it was perfection under feisty!

When will we get a fix on this.

P.S. I filed a bug in launchpad previously ... I will point to this thread from there.
