Im using the latest cvs driver and have encountered that aireplay stopped working for me. Im using a simple custom script that kicks out the guys of my local wlan if they make too much use of the bandwidth. You can have a look at it here [urlaba9j30q]http://linux.pastebin.com/m1e1d16d0[/urlaba9j30q]
It uses the deauth method of aireplay. Some time ago I had to add the "iwpriv wlan0 rfmontx 1" line but since then it has worked just fine until the latest driver version.
Im using kernel 126.96.36.199
# uname -a
Linux uplink 2.6.24-ARCH #1 SMP PREEMPT Sun Mar 30 11:40:06 CEST 2008 i686 AMD Athlon(tm) 64 Processor 3500+ AuthenticAMD GNU/Linux
and Im sure that it is not the rt73usb module from the build-in rt2x00 running
[codeaba9j30q]# lsmod |grep rt73
rt73 218624 1
usbcore 128620 6 usb_storage,rt73,usbhid,ehci_hcd,uhci_hcd
My device is Bus 005 Device 005 ID 0b051723 ASUSTek Computer, Inc. WL-167G v2 802.11g Adapter [ralink]
Here is the modinfo output [urlaba9j30q]http://linux.pastebin.com/m5eb00fae[/urlaba9j30q] Maybe its of use too.
Was there a change in the driver or some additional command that I missed or is it just a bug?
Thanks for your help!
