I am trying to compile the rt73 driver in debian. I am in the Module directory and I did "sudo make" which gave me the following error.
[code3qr3e3ex]
make: *** /lib/modules/2.6.18-61-686: No such file or directory rt73.ko failed to build! make *** [module] error 1
[/code3qr3e3ex]

Whats wrong?

Thank you for your time and effort,

Joe

did you prepare kernel source ?

[code3sskq6v3]# ls /lib/modules/`uname -r` -l[/code3sskq6v3]

there should be an soft link "build" related to kernel source.

lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 40 2008-02-20 06:02 build -> /usr/src/linux-headers-2.6.20-15-generic
