Hi i have a netbook which i have just installed ubuntu ibex on and it works fine. Wireless is working with the built in ubuntu drivers. But i wish to use injection in monitor mode which as far as im aware is a feature of the serialmonkey driver. The driver compiles fine but when i run "sudo iwlist rausb0 scan" it returns no results, even when the laptop is right next to my access point. Rutilt and Airodump-ng find nothing either... Any ideas?
Any help appreciated
I think i may not have worded my post very clearly. I am asking for help with the rt73-cvs-daily driver. I have compiled the driver sucessfully and blacklisted the Ubuntu drivers. Yet the device still finds no networks after i bring the interface up, not even when using rutilt.
If i am still asking a question that is in some way in breach of forum rules can you point out what exactly, just so i dont do it again
What Ivo meant is that you are not providing enough information, such as how you configured the device, debug traces etc...
How many network the stick is supposed to detect? Are you far from your access point?
