Hi,

I'm trying to compile the CVS rt2500 driver against a 2.6.24 kernel, because the pre-supplied version of rt2500pci on Hardy sucks in so many interesting flavours (1Mbit connection speed, constantly dropping connections, &c.).

It compiles beautifully, and will appear to connect to an AP, however, when I try and obtain an IP address (or set it up myself manually) nothing happens.

(I have got the right WEP key btw )

I'll try and attach my debug messages (a large file though).

Any ideas?
