Hello.
First, thanks very much Serialmonkey for all your work, and sorry for my english which isn't fluently. Image

I've got a PCI card using chipstet RT2500, and I wish connect it to my wireless network (WEP encryption, don't use wpa_supplicant). The kernel version is 2.6.28, on ArchLinux.
--> With the Legacy driver rt2500-CVS, it works perfectly. Image
--> With the rt2x00 driver, it doesn't work. Image

Some commands :
Quote:
lsmod |grep rt2
rt2500pci 17280 0
rt2x00pci 8704 1 rt2500pci

The network "MY_SSID" is seen.

Let's configure the connection :
Quote:
iwconfig wlan0 essid "MY_SSID" key 1D9A35CC94

The SSID and the encrytion key are loaded.

Let's continue with the Access Point :
Quote:
iwconfig wlan0 ap 00:1F:BC:41:9A:7D

Damn ! Access Point isn't loaded, and dmesg says :
Quote:
dmesg
wlan0: direct probe to AP 00:1f:bc:41:9a:7d try 1
wlan0: direct probe to AP 00:1f:bc:41:9a:7d try 2

wlan0: direct probe to AP 00:1f:bc:41:9a:7d timed out

It works very well with the Legacy driver rt2500-CVS.
What should I do for using new driver rt2x00 ?
Thank you in advance for any replies and best regards. Image
