Hi, i dont know what seems to be the issue. running suse 10.1

e1405:/home/michal/Desktop/rt2570-cvs-2008032617/Module # make
make[1]: Entering directory `/usr/src/linux-2.6.16.13-4-obj/i386/smp'
make[1]: *** No rule to make target `modules'. Stop.
make[1]: Leaving directory `/usr/src/linux-2.6.16.13-4-obj/i386/smp'
rt2570.ko failed to build!
make: *** [module] Error 1

any info would be greatly appreciated

Make sure you have the kernel sources installed,
that in the kernel source directory you did:
'make prepare'
'make oldconfig'

And that /lib/modules/`uname -r`/build points to your kernel source directory.

Thanks for the reply, as soon as i posted i kind of figured that out. Installed the Kernel sources from the CD and the driver installed with out a problem. However, it might try an older version, cause the latest release seems to hang my USB card, it doesnt wanna inject. Thanks
