[rt2x00-users] rt2500 hard blocked in 2.6.32

I've got this wireless card:
02:02.0 Network controller [0280]: RaLink RT2500 802.11g
Cardbus/mini-PCI [1814:0201] (rev 01)

It's aftermarket for this laptop and the laptop's wireless Fn key
doesn't work with it. In 2.6.32, rfkill shows this card as hard
blocked and I can't find a way to unblock it. Is there a module option
or some such which will have it default on, or does this issue run
into ACPI/BIOS issues? I already have a bug open because the IRQ
routing table on this laptop is bad, so it wouldn't surprise me.
