[rt2x00-users] rt2500pci stalls

Hi,

I have a case which has bugged me forever (since at least 
~2.6.25), but I think it's become worse during the last year or so. After 
the machine starts, I get good download throughput (~6 MBit). After a couple 
of minutes, the rate suddely drops to ~800Kbit and stays there until the next 
reboot. It used to be able to do at least 2Mbit after long uptimes, but not 
anymore.

Two perhaps relates observations:
1) Every so often, like certain evenings/days, the receive rate drops 
to zero for about 10 seconds every 60-90 seconds or so. Doing interactive 
sessions over that is really annoying.

2) Seemingly at the same time (1) happens, the GF (using a win7 laptop) 
complains that "Internet is broken". Pages turn up blank etc. This goes on 
until I reboot _my_ machine. rmmod/modprobe seems to fix the issue for a couple 
of minutes, and then it starts again.

I've run the card in two old P-II machines with similar results.

On the download rate decrease, I notice that the cpu usage is ~20% userspaca 
and ~80% system when at 6Mbit, when it drops to 800K, the system load 
disappears and it idles 80%.

Any ideas hos I can trace this? Both the receive rate and the "10 sec freeeze" 
should be visible _somewhere_ in some stats one might think...
