Produces nothing.

I don't think this system generates wlan devices. The Intel PCI-e abg wireless
card is eth1:

eth1 IEEE 802.11abg ESSID:"tennent" Nickname:"esprit"
          Mode:Managed Frequency:2.462 GHz Access Point: 98:FC:11:84:CD:8C
          Bit Rate:24 Mb/s Tx-Power=20 dBm Sensitivity=8/0
          Retry limit:7 RTS thr:off Fragment thr:off
          Power Management:off
Link Quality=72/100 Signal level=-56 dBm Noise level=-90 dBm
Rx invalid nwid:0 Rx invalid crypt:0 Rx invalid frag:0
          Tx excessive retries:0 Invalid misc:0 Missed beacon:0
But

% dmesg | grep eth
8139too 0000:01:04.0: eth0: RealTek RTL8139 at 0xf058c800, 00:0e:a6:cf:c7:ca, IRQ 16

which is the ethernet card.
