I experience the same problem on a Rt3050 SoC with recent OpenWrt builds. The
problem seems to come up with newer kernel versions, as just using an old
version of mac80211/compat-wireless didn't help it.
However, even with the setting being 0dBm, it seems to be "auto", as I setup a
600m point-to-point link with that box and that worked fine.
Still weird and I'd like to have tx-power-limit control back...
