I've seen similar (but different) errors on some rt73usb-based
hardware and have been trying to sort through the various issues I've

Not sure. I haven't found anything for mine, but I am very new to rt2x00.

I'll second that! Are there any tips on debugging this type of
problem? I've had my own problems with a different Ralink USB adapter
(also rt73usb), and I'd like to help others on the Ubuntu bug report
to sort out their various issues. I have experience with
writing/debugging Linux device drivers but am quite unfamiliar with
wireless and Ralink.
Here's a simple question for someone with experience:
Are "Vendor Request Errors" most likely to be caused by the rt2x00
kernel drivers, the corresponding Ralink firmware (rt73.bin in my
case), damaged hardware, or some combination of the three?
BTW, Fdfdfd, I believe most mailing lists appreciate plain-text email,
not HTML-encoded mail like your previous message. HTML makes some
people less likely to respond.
